PINNACLE AIRLINES PASSENGER TRAFFIC RISES FOR DECEMBER AND 2003

Pinnacle Airlines (NASDAQ:PNCL) released its traffic results for December 2003 and for the calendar year. In December, the carrier transported 458,878 customers, up 50.9 percent from a year prior. Available Seat Miles (ASMs) expanded 67.8 percent to over 276 million and Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs) grew 75.3 percent to 192 million. Load Factor was 69.5 percent, up three points from December 2002.

For the year 2003, Pinnacle carried 4,540,476 customers, up 55.7 percent from 2002. ASMs expanded 56.4 percent. RPMs grew 64.8 percent. Load Factor for 2003 was 67.1 percent, up 3.4 points from the 63.7 percent posted by the airline for 2002.
