Using the study enrollees and a control group's patient surveys, nurse assessments, and medical record reviews, Medstat researchers will measure symptom screening rates, patient satisfaction with diagnosis and treatment, the severity of symptoms and quality of life, cost effectiveness of the selected intervention, patient knowledge of symptom management, and patient exposure to the technology and cancer information.
