When attorneys general asked for the information last week, MySpace did not comply due to federal privacy laws. The social networking site partnered with Sentinel Tech Holding Corp. to build a database of information on sex offenders in December in order to identify them and remove them from MySpace. Attorneys general wanted the information to assist in investigations.
