Promotion to Senior VP at AAHSA AAHSA American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (formerly American Association of Homes for the Aging, AAHA)  Suzanne M. (Susan) Weiss has been promoted to senior vice president for advocacy at the American Association American Association refers to one of the following professional baseball leagues:
  • American Association (19th century), active from 1882 to 1891.
  • American Association (20th century), active from 1902 to 1962 and 1969 to 1997.
 of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA). Weiss will be heading a new advocacy division responsible for coordinating AAHSA's public policy development and government relations efforts.

Weiss has been with the organization since 1936; her previous position was vice president and counsel for public policy.

Barry Ray was appointed president of American Lifestyle, a division of Life Care Centers of America in Cleveland, Tenn.

Tricia K. Kradel was promoted to director of nursing for Valencia Woods Nursing Center in Valencia, Pa.

Steven A. Matarelli, RN, PhD, was appointed director at Fowler Healthcare Affiliates Inc. in Atlanta.
