CORK AND TIPP NEED A REPLAY; MINOR HURLING.

CORK and Tipperary will have to meet again after extra time could not separate them in a pulsating game at Pairc Ui Chaoimh last night.

At half-time in extra time, Tipp led by 4-17 to 3-14 but goals from Brian Hartnett and Dean Brosnan looked to have given Cork the win.

But Tipp's star man John O'Dwyer found the net to make it 5-17 to 5-16 before a David Drake

O'Dwyer's early goal had given Tipp a cushion, but Cork went in leading 1-7 to 1-6 after Jamie Coughlan netted in the 23rd minute.
