CORESTAFF Services Appoints New CEO.

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2001

Peter Owen, chief executive of The Corporate Services Activities that combine or consolidate certain enterprise-wide needed support services, provided based on specialized knowledge, best practices, and technology to serve internal (and sometimes external) customers and business partners.  Group, today announced that Steven R. Drexel has been named president and chief executive officer of CORESTAFF Services, the national staffing company headquartered in Houston.

Drexel assumed the role of interim chief executive officer of CORESTAFF Services in May 2001. Prior to that he served as CORESTAFF executive vice president and chief financial officer. Drexel joined the company in February 2000, bringing with him extensive staffing industry and financial management expertise.

An industry veteran, Drexel's background includes 15 years in the corporate finance department of national staffing firm Kelly Services Kelly Services, Inc. is a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Troy, Michigan, offering staffing solutions that include temporary staffing services, outsourcing, vendor on-site and full-time placement. Kelly operates in 30 countries and territories.  Inc., where he served in a variety of management roles including director of Corporate Finance. He also served as a key member of the company's Pricing Strategy Task Force. Following his tenure at Kelly Services, Drexel served as vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Walsh College in Troy, Mich., where he oversaw o·ver·saw
