COREL CORPORATION REPORTS STOCK DIVIDEND

 OTTAWA, Ontario, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ - The board of directors of Corel Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS: COSFF) today declared a 100 percent stock dividend to common shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 1, 1993. The stock dividend has the effect of a 2-for-1 stock split of Corel's common shares. The stock dividend will double the issued and outstanding common shares of Corel from 15,014,160 to 30,028,320.
 Founded in 1985 by Dr. Michael Cowpland, Corel Corporation is a developer and marketer of PC graphics and SCSI software. Corel is a publicly traded corporation listed on The Toronto Stock Exchange (symbol: COS) and the NASDAQ-National Market System (symbol: COSFF).
