COREL ANNOUNCES COREL GALLERY 2 FOR THE MACOTTAWA, July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Corel Corporation (Nasdaq-NNM: COSFF) announced today Corel GALLERY(TM) 2 for the MAC, a new clipart manager featuring an album containing 15,000 clipart images and symbols, 500 fonts, 75 sounds, 10 QuickTime Movies, QuickTime 2.0, Adobe Type Manager Software from Adobe that was used with earlier versions of Mac and Windows for printing Type 1 PostScript fonts on non-PostScript printers. Adobe Type Manager (ATM) was built into the OS/2 and NeXTstep operating systems and was originally developed to provide WYSIWYG screen fonts for the (ATM) and a font management utility.
Corel Gallery 2 for the MAC supports both the Macintosh and Power Macintosh. Users may drag and drop A graphical user interface (GUI) capability that lets you perform operations by moving the icon of an object with the mouse into another window or onto another icon. For example, files can be copied or moved by dragging them from one folder to another. items or convert them for use with any word processing, presentation, page layout or graphics application on the Macintosh.

It has been designed to run under the Apple System Software version 7.0 on a MC68020 processor or later, or on a Power Mac with a Power PC Processor. It includes capabilities for visual multimedia file management, file viewing, batch file conversion, batch printing, slide shows and font management.
