The Chicanos Por La Causa organization will use the 1,500-square-feet breezeway as a place to display art and as a recreational area to host receptions and community meetings. The retail/commercial center project is located at 1122 E. Buckeye Road in Phoenix. This project is the first phase of a five-phase development in the Nuestro Barrio bar·ri·o n. pl. bar·ri·os 1. Chicanos Por La Causa seeks to deploy approximately $20 million in economic development investments on Buckeye Road between 8th and 12th Streets to enhance the value of adjacent public investments and attract private investment that is noise compatible and which provides a smooth transition of land uses between Sky Harbor International Airport and Downtown Phoenix.
