X-1 well, an exploratory well located in the Northwest Cretaceous Basin of Argentina, to a total depth of 1040 meters. Additionally, a core was taken of the prospective Yacoraite formation between the depths of 976.5 to 986.2 meters. Live oil shows were encountered at several Zones during the drilling coring operations between the depths of 973 to 992 meters. Evaluations are continuing between these depths to determine the commerciality of the reservoirs. These evaluations are anticipated to be on- going for several days.
