All presentations are open to all registrants for the meeting. A comprehensive list of presentations relevant to COR is available on the COR website beginning Thursday, November 9 at www.corr.com. Notable presentations referencing the GP IIb-IIIa inhibitor class in general, and INTEGRILIN in particular, are as follows:

institutional review board and data collection processes at some institutions, not all of the ESPRIT 6-month patient case report forms have been submitted to the Duke Clinical Research Institute, the independent coordinating center for ESPRIT. In order to assure the integrity of the 6-month data, the results for the individual drug treatment arms will not be unblinded or analyzed until data collection is complete. As soon as the data collection process is complete, the 6-month ESPRIT results will be unblinded, analyzed, and made public.

On Tuesday, November 14 at 2:30 p.m., James E. Tcheng, MD, the Principal Investigator for ESPRIT from Duke University Medical Center (Durham, NC), will present blinded, preliminary, 6-month outcomes data available to date for the combined INTEGRILIN plus placebo cohort. The blended event rates for specific demographic populations (i.e. diabetics, females, older patients) will be compared and contrasted with the outcomes for the combined patient cohort at 30 days to ascertain the extent of adverse outcomes that occur over time in various patient populations in the modern era of PCI.

Several significant subset analyses from the 30-day ESPRIT data set will be presented at the AHA scientific sessions, examining outcomes with INTEGRILIN in diabetic patients (Marino Labinaz, MD, Tuesday, November 14 at 2:00 p.m.), female patients (Laura S. Fernandez, MD, Wednesday, November 15 at 11:15 a.m.), and those receiving low-dose heparin (Thaddeus R. Tolleson, MD, Tuesday, November 14 at 2:45 p.m.).

C. Michael Gibson, MD, from the University of California The University of California has a combined student body of more than 191,000 students, over 1,340,000 living alumni, and a combined systemwide and campus endowment of just over $7.3 billion (8th largest in the United States).  at San Francisco (San Francisco, CA) will present findings from the ESPRIT angiographic sub-study examining preservation of microvascular blood flow to heart muscle following PCI with INTEGRILIN. The oral presentation is scheduled for Sunday, November 12 at 4:45 p.m.

-- Unstable Angina/Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction

Featured throughout the sessions will be discussions of new ACC/AHA guidelines for the management of unstable angina (UA) and non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI NSTEMI Non-ST elevation myocardial infarction ). At a satellite symposium sponsored by COR and its marketing partner for INTEGRILIN, Key Pharmaceuticals, Inc., scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 12 at the Hilton Riverside Hotel, Eugene Braunwald, MD of the Brigham and Women's Hospital Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) is a hospital in the Longwood Area of the Boston, Massachusetts neighborhood of Mission Hill. With Massachusetts General Hospital, it is one of the two founding members of Partners HealthCare.  (Boston, MA) and one of the primary authors of the guidelines, will discuss recommendations for the early use of GP IIb-IIIa inhibitors in UA/NSTEMI UA/NSTEMI Unstable Angina/Non St-Elevation Myocardial Infarction . At the same session, Robert Harrington, MD, of Duke University Medical Center (Durham, NC), will present data demonstrating the potential usefulness of INTEGRILIN when employed in a manner consistent with the guidelines.

-- ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction

Progress to date with INTEGRILIN in combination with reduced doses of the fibrinolytics alteplase and tenecteplase will be discussed by Eric Topol, MD of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (Cleveland, OH), and Robert Guilliano, MD of the Brigham and Women's Hospital at the COR/Key supported satellite symposium on Sunday evening.

The final results of the Phase II dose-confirmation phase of the INTRO-AMI study of INTEGRILIN combined with reduced-dose alteplase in ST elevation myocardial infarction will be formally presented at an oral abstract session by Sorin Brenner, MD of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation on Tuesday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m.

-- Platelet Biology

A discussion of the pro-inflammatory effects of platelets, the potential anti-inflammatory properties of GP IIb-IIIa inhibitors, and their relationship to inhibition of platelet aggregation will be presented on Sunday, November 12 at 9:35 a.m. by David Phillips, PhD, Principal Scientist at COR Therapeutics, who pioneered research into the platelet receptor GP IIb-IIIa. Several oral and poster presentations will highlight the platelet aggregation inhibitory effects of INTEGRILIN throughout the scientific sessions as follows:
- Frank V. Aguirre, MD of Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants (Springfield, IL)
on Monday, November 13 at 9:00 a.m.

- Christopher B. Liu, MD of Brigham and Women's Hospital on Monday, November 13
at 11:00 a.m.

- Samin K. Sharma, MD of Mt. Sinai Hospital (New York, NY) on Tuesday, November
14 at 2:15 p.m.
