The Antelope Valley
 temperatures hit triple digits, the big cats at the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound's Feline Conservation Center are getting extra help to stay cool.

``They're showered down continually,'' said Sandy Masek, general manager and director. ``They don't have too much of a problem. They acclimate to temperatures really well. We just keep them in a cooler environment than we usually do.''

High temperatures are usually in the mid- to upper 90s in Palmdale and Lancaster at this time of year, Weather Service records show.
