It is used as laundry starch, in sizing paper, in making adhesives, and in cooking. 1/2 cup cold water 1 tablespoon sugar 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 cup dairy sour cream Drain cherries, placing liquid in medium saucepan. In a small mixing bowl, combine cornstarch and cold water. Mix well and add to liquid in saucepan. Heat to boiling and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add sugar and lemon juice. Stir; remove from heat and chill.
