The recipe originally appeared in the Restaurant Replica column years ago and is a copycat version of Miss Grace's Lemon Cake. It's a favorite with readers and we've reprinted it numerous times. This easy, streamlined version uses a lemon cake mix as the base. Add eggs, oil and water. Beat on low speed to combine; increase speed to medium and continue beating another 2 minutes. Turn batter into a 12-cup greased Bundt pan. ALMOST BAKLAVA (Shared by ElsieDe Santis, Glendale) 6 frozen puff pastry shells (Pepperidge Farms) 1 cup honey, warmed 2 cups finely chopped walnuts 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon Grated peel of 1 lemon Thaw pastry shells. In a bowl, combine honey, walnuts, cinnamon and lemon peel. Stir well. Keep warm so mixture will spread. Roll each pastry shell to about 7x10-inch paper-thin oblong. Spread each with 1/6 of honey mixture. Stack oblongs evenly atop one another on a foil-lined cookie sheet to make 1 oblong. Trim if necessary to even up edges. Bake in preheated 400-degree oven 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and cut into squares or rectangles. Can you help?
