CONTROL DATA AND WELLFLEET COMMUNICATIONS TEAM UP TO MARKET HIGH AVAILABILITY INTERNETWORKING SOLUTIONS

 ARDEN HILLS, Minn., Nov. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Control Data Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDAT) and Wellfleet Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: WLFT) today announced a value added reseller agreement to meet the growing demand for high-performance data networking solutions to link multi-vendor local area networks (LANs).
 Under the agreement, Control Data will resell Wellfleet's entire product line of multiprotocol routers. Control Data will include them in their integrated solutions for internetworking and will support the products (with hot line, first call and trained engineers). Wellfleet's products are based on a unique symmetric multiprocessor architecture and distributed fault-resilient software operating system. Wellfleet's high availability features, such as software fault isolation and recovery, non-disruptive on line operational servicing and dynamic reconfiguration uniquely satisfy the up-time requirements of mission-critical applications. As an industry leader in network integration, Control Data is able to combine product sets and services to build high- performance, customized solutions for virtually any computing environment.
