 CONTINENTAL ANNOUNCES NEW SERVICE FROM NEWARK TO ST. LOUIS
 INTRODUCTORY FARE TO BE $198
 NEWARK, N.J., Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Airlines said today it will step-up its domestic service by starting non-stop, twice daily flights from Newark to St. Louis, effective Jan. 7th. The announcement comes three days after announcing plans to increase its international service from Newark International Airport.
 To inaugurate the new service, the airline will offer an introductory excursion fare of $198 round-trip, and an unrestricted fare for business travelers of $195 each way.
 "The addition of the St. Louis flights are an important component in our ability to enhance service to our business travelers. It will be a profitable addition to our growing operations at Newark International Airport," said Richard Lisser, Continental city vice president, who oversees the airline's operations at Newark.
 Earlier in the week, Continental announced it will begin service to the following destinations: Mexico City on Dec. 15th, Madrid on Jan. 15th and Munich on June 1st.
 The first of two daily flights to St. Louis will depart Newark at 8:20 a.m. arriving in St. Louis at 10:16 a.m. The second flight will depart Newark at 4:30 p.m. arriving in St. Louis at 6:45 p.m.
 Service from St. Louis to Newark will depart at 8:30 a.m. arriving at Newark at 12:00 p.m. The second flight from St. Louis will depart at 3:45 p.m. and arrive at Newark at 7:15 p.m.
 Continental Airlines is Newark International Airport's largest carrier with 261 daily departures to 61 destinations including 12 international cities.
