CONSTRUCTION WORKER INJURED ON JOB.

A 45-year-old construction worker suffered minor injuries early Monday morning when the heavy equipment he was operating slid down a steep hill Steep Hill is a popular tourist street in the historic city of Lincoln, UK.

Heath was taken by ambulance to a Castaic park about a mile from the construction site and then airlifted to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, where he was admitted in good condition.

Officials said he suffered a concussion and complained of pain to the lower back and shoulder.

Company officials said Heath was hired only last week.

``He was a new hire,'' said Davis.

Construction crews were grading the acreage for a housing development.
