CONSOLIDATED RAMROD GOLD CORP. - HONDURAS PROJECT REPORTS SIGNIFICANT GOLD VALUES.

VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 14, 1995--Consolidated Ramrod Gold Corporation (NASDAQ SMALL-CAP EXCHANGE: CYNXF, BERLIN OTC EXCHANGE No.867 958, EDV-KURZEL: CRC, TSE: CYN) has received further encouraging gold assays from the latest 9 drill holes assayed from the Zopilote Concession (formerly Chaparrales Permit), Honduras, owned by Aurora Exploracion (Honduras), S. de R.L. in which Ramrod has earned a 51 percent interest. Ramrod has been operations manager since July 1994.

Since the joint venture was announced in February 1994, a total of 44 core holes were drilled for a cumulative total of 22,320 feet at Zopilote. Drill core intervals containing grades expected to be ore grade for this region have been realized from 35 of 37 drill holes assayed to date. The most recent drilling program at Zopilote was completed at the end of June. Assays from drill holes R95-15 through R95-25 will be available from a United States laboratory in July.

Attached are the tabulated results for drill holes R95-6 through R95-14. Assay results from deeper drill holes confirm the downward continuation of gold mineralization, adding significantly to the project reserves. Results from drill holes located at shallower horizons have consistently shown higher grades of gold than previously reported. These higher gold grades will have a very positive affect on mining economics. Drill results to date have expanded the potential size of the resource beyond original expectations.

Ramrod is advancing towards a production decision on the Zopilote concession. The environmental permitting process has been initiated and the geologic and engineering studies that are necessary to place the property into production are on-going.
