SAINT-LAMBERT, QUEBEC--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JULY 13 1995--SOQUEM, CONSOLIDATED OASIS RESJoint-venture partners Consolidated Oasis Resources Inc. ("OASIS") and SOQUEM are pleased to announce the results of the drilling recently performed on their PONTIAC gold project.

A program of 5 holes for a total of 845 meters has been completed in June on the property. The drill program, following a detailed I.P. survey, was initiated to test the gold potential in the vicinity of the hole #95-1 that returned a section of 10,1 meters at 3,48 g/t Au (0,10 oz/t Au over 33,1 feet).

All the holes encountered gold anomalous sections. The hole #95-16, the western most of the new drilling, located 200 meters northwest of #95-1, is the most spectacular. This hole cut a mineralized section highly anomalous in gold over 216,4 meters, between 20,7 m and the bottom of the hole at 237,1 m. Within this zone, richer sections were noted:

4,25 g/t Au over 2,5 meters between 30,8 m and 33,3 m. (0,124 oz/t Au over 8,2 feet)

1,75 g/t Au over 1,5 meters between 37,8 m and 39,3 m. (0,05 oz/t Au over 4,9 feet)

3,39 g/t Au over 2,0 meters between 88,8 m and 90,8 m. (0,10 oz/t Au over 6,6 feet)

7,36 g/t Au over 2,1 meters between 220,0 m and 222,1 m. (0,215 oz/t Au over 6,9 feet)

Follow-up drilling is now being performed on the PONTIAC gold project, composed of 264 claims located in the Chibougamau area.
