(ME,CSI), ("OASIS") and SOQUEM are pleased to announce the results of the second exploration phase on their PONTIAC gold project. A second exploration program of $260 000, financed by both parties, was completed in late March. It consisted of I.P. surveys and of a program of 12 drill holes (2 038 meters) to test some of the geological and geophysical ge·o·phys·ics n. (used with a sing. verb) The physics of the earth and its environment, including the physics of fields such as meteorology, oceanography, and seismology. targets. The most spectacular results are from hole 95-1 that returned a section of 10.1 meters grading 3.48 g/t Au (33 feet at 0.10 oz/t Au). This drill hole was collared 200 meters to the west of zone "X-13" that returned 2.41 g/t Au over 4.4 meters (0.07 oz/t Au over 14.4 feet). The "X-13" gold zone is open in all directions and is characterized by an I.P. anomaly Abnormality or deviation. Pronounced "uh-nom-uh-lee," it is a favorite word among computer people when complex systems produce output that is inexplicable.
