CONSOLIDATED GRAPHICS TO ACQUIRE BRIDGETOWN PRINTING OF PORTLAND, OREGON.


HOUSTON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 2, 1996--Consolidated Graphics, Inc. (Nasdaq/NM:COGI COGI Coalition on Government Information (also known as the Minnesota Coalition on Government Information, or MNCOGI; promotes open access to public records) ) today announced the signing of a letter of intent to acquire Bridgetown Printing Co. from Oregon Lithoprint Inc. of McMinnville, Oregon McMinnville is the county seat and largest city of Yamhill County, Oregon, United States. According to Oregon Geographic Names, it was named by its founder, William T. Newby, an early immigrant on the Oregon Trail, for his hometown of McMinnville, Tennessee. . Bridgetown Printing has served the Portland, Oregon, area since 1902. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Bridgetown Printing, one of the largest commercial printers in Portland, provides sheet-fed printing services to a wide variety of businesses on four presses with up to six-color capability. The company will continue to operate under its current name and existing management.
