CONSERVATIVES SCORE BUSH OVER NEW MEDICARE LAW.


President George Bush no longer has solid support from the conservative wing of the Republican party, conservatives made clear last week at the annual meeting of the Conservative Political Action Conference in Arlington, VA.

Robert L. (Bob) Barr, Jr. (born November 5, 1948) is an attorney and a former member of the United States House of Representatives from Georgia.

Rep. John Shadegg John Barden Shadegg (born October 22 1949), American politician, has been a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives since 1995, representing Arizona's At-large congressional district (map). Shadegg is now in his sixth term.  (R-AZ) criticized the president's State of the Union message for not describing more specifically how he would hold discretionary spending growth to 4 percent this year.

Conservative lawmakers also were critical of the president's immigrant guest-worker program, which they consider an amnesty program for illegal aliens.

 Chairman F. I might add I'm also very proud of the fact that the President appointed Charles Pickering to a recess appointment in the appellate court A court having jurisdiction to review decisions of a trial-level or other lower court.

An unsuccessful party in a lawsuit must file an appeal with an appellate court in order to have the decision reviewed.
