CONNECT! Widgets Pro speeds construction of sophisticated Java applets.


SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 20, 1996--CONNECT! CORP., founded in 1993, a premier provider of Java(TM) solutions, Thursday announced CONNECT! Widgets Pro(TM), a collection of sophisticated, pre-built, reusable components for the Sun Microsystems Sun Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: JAVA[3]) is an American vendor of computers, computer components, computer software, and information-technology services, founded on 24 February 1982.  Java(TM) environment.

Widgets Pro(TM) joins the CONNECT! product line, which already includes the top selling user interface component library, CONNECT! Widgets. Widgets Pro(TM) consists of the following eight components: picture fields with formatting and validation, group box panel, multi-column list box, grid control, scrolling panel, calendar, progress window, and splitter panel.

Pricing for the product is $399.95 per license with royalty free distribution. A bundle containing both Widgets and Widgets Pro(TM) will be available for $599. Existing Widgets users will be able to purchase a license to Widgets Pro for $199.

Widgets Pro(TM) will be available towards the end of July. The BETA Widgets Pro(TM) demonstration is available at http://www.connectcorp.com/widgetpro.html.
