CONIX Systems Launches Dupe Detective; New Product Eliminates Cost and Liability of Processing Items Multiple Times.

Dupe Detective eliminates the same item from being sent or received multiple times for collection. It also provides banks with the data they need to impose fees on institutions that send excessive duplicate items. Dupe Detective is designed to eliminate duplicates across a statement cycle, regardless of the payment source - check, ACH, ARC, image cash letter, or IRD.

Built on CONIX Systems' new iCONIX architecture, Dupe Detective allows banks to reject image exchange duplicates prior to accepting exchange items into their payment systems. Equally important, Dupe Detective eliminates duplicates in outgoing payment streams prior to posting. Liability risks associated with inaccurate posting of customer accounts and charges incurred from presentment of duplicate payments to other institutions are greatly reduced.
