LLANDUDNO hope to exploit a technicality to make it into the third round of the Principality Welsh Rugby Union The Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) (Welsh: Undeb Rygbi Cymru) is the governing body of rugby union in Wales, recognised by the International Rugby Board.  Cup tie - despite losing by two points in their round two clash.

We had the upper hand in the scrums and were disadvantaged with the five-metre scrums that were awarded in the dying minutes The cup rules read: `If any club elects to take uncontested scrums it will forfeit the game.' There can be no other result other than awarding Llandudno the tie.''

Fairwater club secretary Steve Theaker said: ``As far as I am concerned I watched the whole game and there were no uncontested scrums and we are through to the next round on merit.''

The home side's No 8 Gareth Crowe went over for a push-over try which was again converted by full-back Donnelly to bring the seasiders back to within two points before the sin-binning.
