 Nao Takasugi, R-Camarillo, was named chairman of the Revenue and Taxation Committee on Thursday with unanimous approval by the Republican members of the Rules Committee.

In coming months the committee will consider Gov. Pete Wilson's proposed income tax cut, the nationally discussed flat tax and an array of tax incentives to attract business and jobs to California.
