(1.9 cm) in diameter in the adult.  Saturday after he confronted a group of people in an apartment complex parking lot on 1917 Los Feliz Drive while searching for suspects who robbed his friend, police said.

Ruiz ran to the home of his friend Rodriguez for help, and both men returned to the crime scene to search for suspects, police said. Rodriguez confronted a group of people in the apartment complex parking lot and was struck in the throat.
