THOUSAND OAKS Thousand Oaks, residential city (1990 pop. 104,352), Ventura co., S Calif., in a farm area; inc. 1964. Avocados, citrus, vegetables, strawberries, and nursery products are grown.  - Two Thousand Oaks men have been arrested on suspicion of firing a gun at five teen-agers in another vehicle on the freeway, officials said Sunday.

Mauricio Lopez Romero, 18, and David Jay Migdol, 19, were booked into the Ventura County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail, officials said.

 Ventura Freeway The Ventura Freeway is a freeway in southern California running from Ventura to Pasadena.
