THOUSAND OAKS - Conejo Valley Adult Education is offering CPR and first-aid classes Aug. 17.

CPR training will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with first-aid classes scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m.

Both will be held in Room D of the school, 1025 Old Farm Road, Thousand Oaks.

Cost is $25 per class. Graduates will receive an American Heart Association card at $5 per card.

CAMARILLO - Interface Children, Family Services is offering help for people who are experiencing unusual pressure at work or home.

In many cases, uncontrolled angry outbursts, shouting at family members and explosive behavior begin with stress and burnout.
