SIMI VALLEY Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  - Simi Valley High School Simi Valley High School is a secondary school located in Simi Valley, California which was established in 1920 as the first high school in the valley. It nestles in the Santa Susana Mountains and is adjacent to the San Fernando Valley, part of the city and county of Ventura.  Dramatics dra·mat·ics

 will present its original play, ``Moments,'' on Jan. 10-25 in the Little Theater, room D-7 at Simi Valley High, 5400 Cochran Street.

Written solely by Simi Valley students, the play is about a father who manages to find humor and tenderness in his memories, despite the sudden tragedy which strikes his family. Tickets are available for $4; $3 for students with Associated Student Body identification. Shows will be at 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays. For more information, call (805) 520-6850.

Moorpark High pupils to perform fall show

MOORPARK - Moorpark High School's fall play, ``More Than Meets the Eye More Than Meets the Eye was the three-part series premiere for the 1984 cartoon The Transformers. The three-part pilot was originally known simply as The Transformers ,'' is scheduled to be presented Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. with a 3 p.m. matinee Sunday in the Performing Arts Center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre.  at the school, 4500 Tierra Rejada Road.

The story is about young Stanley Nichols, who has become a popular writer of children's books under the pseudonym Grandma Letty. The play unfolds as Stanley's decisions result in a host of complications that explore his integrity. All seats are $5. Doors and box office open a half-hour before the show.
