CONEJO VALLEY: BRIEFLY : PLANE CRASH KILLS NEWBURY PARK PAIR.


ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A Newbury Park couple was killed in the crash of a homemade plane at a local general aviation airport, and federal investigators were on the scene Thursday searching for a cause.

The single-engine Thorpe T-18 Tiger crashed Wednesday afternoon at Double Eagle II Airport Double Eagle II Airport (IATA: AEG, ICAO: KAEG) serves Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ex-deputy to plead guilty, judge says

VENTURA - A former Ventura County sheriff's deputy charged with stealing a laptop computer and falsely claiming overtime pay intends to plead guilty next month, a Ventura Superior Court judge said Thursday.

Papush was not injured. The cause of the incident was under investigation.
