Square dancing planned at center

THOUSAND OAKS - The Thousand Oaks Pi-R Squares will host a square dance Saturday evening at Borchard Community Center.

Dancing will be from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at the center, located at Borchard and Reino roads in Newbury Park. Marty Firstenburg will be the caller and rounds will be cued by Finn Hoefler.

Goebel seniors to sell crafts

THOUSAND OAKS - The Goebel Senior Adult Center Commission is sponsoring a Holiday Craft Bazaar in Thousand Oaks from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday to raise money for programs at the center.

The crafts are handmade by seniors ages 50 and older who participate in programs at the center, 1385 E. Janss Road. Lunch will be sold at the bazaar for $4. It includes a pasta lunch of Alfredo and marinara ma·ri·na·ra

Being or served with a sauce of tomatoes, onions, garlic, and spices: spaghetti marinara.

Church to hold holiday boutique

WESTLAKE VILLAGE - The annual Holiday Boutique at the United Methodist Church United Methodist Church, in the United States, religious body formed by the union in 1968 of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Methodist Church (see Methodism).  of Westlake Village, featuring handmade gifts and home-baked goods for sale, will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The boutique, sponsored by the Methodist Church and Westlake Lutheran Church, offers proceeds to local, national and international mission projects.

Lunch of soup and pie will be offered from 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The church is at 1049 Westlake Blvd. For more information, call the church at (805) 497-7884 or (818) 889-5431.
