CONEJO VALLEY: BRIEFLY : DEPUTY DENIES ILLICIT SEX WITH JAIL INMATE.VENTURA - A Ventura County sheriff's deputy pleaded not guilty through his attorney Thursday to charges that he had unlawful consensual sex with a female inmate. Daniel De Vall, 28, of Camarillo was not present for the brief hearing before Municipal Court Judge Bruce A. Clark. Clark took the not-guilty plea from Deputy Public Defender public defender, governmental official who represents indigent persons accused of crime.
