THOUSAND OAKS - The Red Line Corvette Club will hold its fourth annual All Corvette Car Show on Sunday at Courtesy Chevrolet in the Thousand Oaks Auto Mall.

Club officials expect nearly 100 entries ranging from 1953 to 1996 models. Sponsors include Bulova Corp., Chevrolet Motor Division and Courtesy Chevrolet. Proceeds from the show will benefit local DARE programs.

The registration gate will open at 8 a.m. The entry fee is $20 for non-preregistered vehicles. The show is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Santa Maria-style barbecue plus entertainment is scheduled.

T.O. traffic officers to target schools

THOUSAND OAKS - The Sheriff's Thousand Oaks Police Department Traffic Bureau announced that it will enhance enforcement outside city schools during the coming week.

Police are spotlighting those locations to raise awareness of the need for obeying speed and other traffic laws near schools to better protect local schoolchildren schoolchildren school nplécoliers mpl;

Water exercise classes offered

CAMARILLO - The Arthritis Foundation and Pleasant Valley Parks and Recreation Department are offering Camarillo Twinges in the Hinges warm-water exercise from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at Pleasant Valley Pool, 1030 Temple Ave.

The classes, which will begin Tuesday, will be led by Betty Chappel, an Arthritis Foundation trained and certified pool leader. Ability to swim This article is about swimming in animals. For human swimming, see Swimming.

THOUSAND OAKS - A student from Thousand Oaks was among three recently elected to the California Lutheran University Mission statement
The University's mission statement is as follows:

"California Lutheran University is a diverse, scholarly community dedicated to excellence in the liberal arts and professional studies.
 Scholastic Honor Society, the university announced.

Students elected to the honor society were Deyanne Nesh of Thousand Oaks; Rolf Alexander of Bromma, Sweden; and Susanne Kelley of Pacific Grove.

Students qualify for the honor society by maintaining a grade point average of at least 3.75 on a 4.0 scale or being among the top 5 percent of their graduating class. Most students are recommended for the society after their junior year at CLU.
