Zavala still faces 50 years to life in prison for the remaining charges and a special allegation that he caused great bodily injury to his first victim, a 64-year-old woman who suffered permanent throat injury, she said.

Zavala, a Mexican national, faces deportation deportation, expulsion of an alien from a country by an act of its government. Resurfacing to close lanes of 2 T.O. streets

THOUSAND OAKS - Various lanes on Lynn Road between Avenida de los Arboles and Hillcrest Drive will be closed through Oct. 17 while the street is resurfaced.

The Thousand Oaks Police Department will actively enforce the 25 mph limit during the resurfacing project.
