 with matches started a fire that burned a second-floor apartment in Camarillo on Friday afternoon, Ventura County Fire Department Not to be confused with Ventura Fire Department.

The Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD) provides fire protection and emergency response services for the unincorporated areas of Ventura County, California, and for six other cities within the county.

Three adults and two children were inside the apartment at 270 N. Glenn Drive when the fire was reported at 2:40 p.m. Three engines and a ladder truck were called and the fire was contained without any injuries to firefighters or the occupants.

Five youths arrested in credit card scheme

OAK PARK - Five juvenile males from Oak Park and Agoura Hills were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of using fraudulently fraud·u·lent

Sheriff's officials said the juveniles apparently obtained access to card information from America Online See AOL.  subscribers, purchased merchandise illegally, and then sold the goods to Agoura and Oak Park high school students.
