AGOURA HILLS - City residents interested in serving on the city's Architectural Review The Architectural Review is a monthly international architectural magazine published in London since 1896. Articles cover the built environment which includes landscape, building design, interior design and urbanism as well as theory of these subjects.  Board can pick up applications at City Hall, 30101 Agoura Court.

The council-appointed members of the advisory panel review architectural applications in the city, looking at landscape and other aspects of the project's engineering. Applicants should have some experience in these areas.

Appointments will run until June 30, 1998. Applications are due June 13 by 6 p.m. For more information, call (818) 597-7300.

Westlake Village committees to meet

WESTLAKE VILLAGE - Several city committees are meeting this week.

Today at noon the city's Cultural/Recreation Committee will meet to discuss applicants for its 1996 grant program.

On Friday the Public Safety Committee will meet at 7:30 a.m. to review measures needed to control traffic at the Price Costco grand opening in August; to review a request from Westminster Presbyterian Church Westminster Presbyterian Church can refer to:
  • Westminster Presbyterian Church of Australia
  • Westminster Presbyterian Church in the United States
  • Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota
 to allow on-street parking Sundays; and to review traffic conditions at Three Springs Road.

At 3 p.m. Friday, the city's Environmental Committee will meet to consider the removal of several eucalyptus trees on Triunfo Canyon Road and to review landscaping plans for the entrance to Three Springs.

Tests show mother was beaten, stabbed

VENTURA - Sherri Renee Dally - the 35-year-old mother of two who disappeared last month and whose body was discovered this weekend - was beaten and stabbed to death, the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office said Wednesday.
