CONCERTS IN THE PARK WOODLAND HILLS SUMMER SERIES NOW IN ITS 31ST SEASON.Byline: Mark Kellam Valley News Writer The Valley Cultural Center will present its 31st season of Concerts in the Park this summer at the Lou Bredlow Pavilion at Warner Ranch Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd. in Woodland Hills. Concerts start June 4 and continue every Sunday through Aug. 27 (except on July 2 when there will be no concert because this year's July Fourth concert is on a Tuesday). On June 25, the Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Family Festival starting at 1 p.m. It will feature the Beatles tribute band Ticket to Ride. The fourth annual July 4th Extravaganza will take place on a Tuesday this year with the Los Angeles Pierce College

The winners get to perform in the June 11 concert as well as at the Madrid Theatre for the center's Monday Morning free concerts. July 9 - The Preservation Hall Jazz Band Preservation Hall Jazz Band is the name for groups of Traditional jazz musicians from New Orleans on tours organized by Preservation Hall. The Preservation Hall Jazz Band usually performs nightly at Preservation Hall and tours around the world over 150 days a year. will return. The band has been referred to by one music critic as ``a bridge across the ages - a link between the present day and the heyday of traditional New Orleans music.'' The band's Latin R&B rhythm has produced classics such as ``Together,'' ``Gonna Find Her,'' ``Memories'' and ``Zoot Suit Boogie.'' July 30 - Poco po·co adv.
