Warner Park is a community park in northern Madison, Wisconsin. . The orchestra carries on the musical tradition of the legendary trumpeter Harry James and brings to life great songs of the Swing Era, under the direction of Art Depew. This evening's concert runs from 6 to 8 p.m. in the park, located at the corner of Califa Street and Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Woodland Hills. People are invited to come early, bring lawn chairs and blankets and have a picnic in the park, where a food court is available with tasty treats from area restaurants. Premium parking is available in the structure directly behind the stage on Califa Street for a $4 donation. Additional parking is on Owensmouth Avenue, opposite Houston's Restaurant, between Califa and Oxnard streets for a $3 donation. The series of Concerts in the Park are produced by the Program Committee of the Valley Cultural Center, a volunteer committee composed of board members and volunteers.
