A Ryder national selection committee evaluated carriers on several criteria, including customer service, on-time performance, innovation and professionalism. Each carrier was assessed on communications, on-time performance, damage minimums and cost control based upon their actual performance and a survey conducted among NAPO field and logistics personnel.
