COMSYS Selects Charter Members for Supplier Diversity Mentorship Program.

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 12, 2003

COMSYS Information Technology Services Inc., a leading national provider of information technology staffing, services and solutions, has selected six small-business owners as charter members of the COMSYS Supplier Diversity Supplier Diversity is a business program that encourages the use of previously underutilized minority owned vendors as suppliers. It is not directly correlated with supply chain diversification, although utilizing more vendors may enhance supply chain diversification.  Mentorship program. The group convened at the inaugural CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Roundtable today in Houston to outline the roles and expectations of participants in the program going forward.

Mentorship program participants addressed various topics including capitalizing on market conditions, finding new ways to attract business, developing effective delivery strategies, sales opportunities for collaboration and profit growth.

COMSYS Branch Directors nationwide recommended the six members based on their compatibility with COMSYS' core competencies, market and business goals. The participants are high achievers with diverse and extensive backgrounds across technology, engineering and business. They also are owners of companies that are 8(A) certified as small and disadvantaged businesses.
