Wright, senior vice president of operations for COMSYS' VMS offering, said, "We are committed to providing the best VMS solution in the market and view this effort as another step in validating that position. The VMS offering is a proven successful combination of people, process and best-in-class technology."

COMSYS' adoption of the ISO standards underscores the rigorous processes and standards already in place. Clients will be able to outsource the management and coordination of multiple vendors with a better perspective of their spend on contingent staff resources across the enterprise, including administrative/clerical, finance/accounting, information technology, engineering and light industrial labor.

Jim Klauber, senior vice president of national sales & marketing, commented, "Pursuing certification reflects our commitment to following superior management practices in our VMS programs and an ongoing development in our design, implementation and operational processes. ISO certification will further ensure our programs remain competitive, compliant and cost-effective."

COMSYS is currently in the documentation and implementation stage of this effort. Following internal audits of procedures, COMSYS will enter the certification stage, in anticipation of becoming fully certified by October 2003.
