Additionally, one CMC prepaid card can be used on all of Inmarsat's land, sea and air mobile satellite voice technologies including A, B, M, Mini-M, M4 and Aero-H (aeronautical service), making this the most convenient prepaid card in the market. "CMC developed this new service to meet our customers' growing demand for prepaid services in the maritime, aeronautical and land mobile markets," said Kathryn Y. The new system is installed in CMC's Southbury, Connecticut, land earth station and is administered by CMC technicians and customer service specialists. This reduces operational costs and the savings are passed onto CMC prepaid calling customers. The new prepaid service is also designed to make satellite calling easier. It incorporates enhanced calling features that include call continuation, card recharging and simplified dialing.
