This is the fourth consecutive year that COMSAT Brasil, a unit of LMGT's Network Services line of business, has been recognized by the publication as best in its class and the first time it has been recognized for its value added network services.

In all, 10 networking service providers were evaluated and rated on eight selection criteria including:

-- Increase in revenues over the past year

-- Marketing expenses

-- Image

-- Business ethics

-- Product mix

-- Partnerships and alliances policies

-- Investments to adapt services to local conditions

-- Local manufacturing

Data for the selection criteria was collected from International Data Corporation (IDC), Pyramid Research and the Yankee Group. The selection of COMSAT Brasil also took into account a survey given to the leading network services customers and an internal editors choice voting.

COMSAT Brasil received a rating of 74.5 points out a maximum of 80, outscoring all other in-country network service providers.
