PC Mall resells computer hardware and software products from the likes of IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) , Compaq (Compaq Computer Corporation, Houston, TX, www.compaq.com) Compaq was the leading PC manufacturer when it was acquired by HP in 2002. The still-robust economy throughout the first half of 2000 helped all but three of the top 15 companies on this year's list to show gains in revenues. In fact, their combined revenues were 16 percent higher in 2000 than in 1999.
