 COMPUTER NETWORK TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION ANNOUNCES NEW ORDERS
 MAPLE GROVE, Minn., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Network Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: CMNT)(CNT) announced today that it received an order for $2.5 million from a large food distributor. CNT's CHANNELink(TM) products will be used in connection with the implementation of a complex, high speed, wide-area network that will support multiple applications between IBM mainframe computers and related peripheral devices. Approximately one third of the equipment ordered is scheduled for installation in 1992, with the balance scheduled for installation in 1993. The customer may cancel any portion of this order 60 days prior to the scheduled installation date.
 CNT also announced today the receipt of orders totaling $1.1 million from a large, international communications company. The ordered equipment was installed during the first quarter of 1992.
 According to CNT's President and CEO Mac Lewis, "We are delighted to have been selected by these two new customers for solving their high speed networking requirements. We continue to see growing acceptance by large organizations for the high speed information movement solutions offered by our CHANNELink family of products."
