COMPASS Appoints EDA Industry Veteran F. Taylor Scanlon To V.P. Taylor Scanlon has been named vice president of worldwide marketing, directing the company's worldwide strategic and tactical marketing and applications engineering organization. With more than 25 years experience in semiconductor and electronic design automation, Scanlon, 49, previously held the vice president, North American Operations position for COMPASS. Scanlon replaces Jeff Lewis who has left the company to pursue personal interests. "Taylor played a key role in the initial spin-off of COMPASS from VLSI Technology and has been integral in the company's success to date," stated President Dieter Mezger, COMPASS Design Automation.
