COMPAQ INTROS LIGHTWEIGHT, FEATURE RICH PROSIGNIA POWERED BY PENTIUM III, II.


Houston-based PC maker Compaq Computer Corp. said last week it will begin shipping its Prosignia Notebook 170 in December. The new feature-rich notebook received the Computer Reseller News Recommended Award earlier this month during Fall Comdex '99. With prices starting at $2,336 and monthly lease prices starting at $78, Compaq says the under six-pound Prosignia Notebook 170 offers a "lightweight solution with desktop performance."
