COMPAQ EXTENDS SUCCESSFUL LTE ELITE PROMOTION; Bundle Now Includes Additional Model.

) today announced the extension of its Compaq SmartStation value promotion - a $700(a) value - through June 30, 1995. Additionally, the promotion now includes the LTE (Long Term Evolution) See 3GPP.  Elite 4/50E line of notebook computers in the SmartStation bundle.

The SmartStation value promotion, announced in January, gives Compaq customers a $700 desktop expansion base option free-of-charge for three of Compaq's most powerful notebook computers: the LTE Elite 4/50E, the 4/50CX and the 4/75CX. The promotion, originally scheduled to end April 30, has been extended and expanded through June 30.

"Our customers clearly expressed their interest in the LTE Elite/SmartStation promotion.
