The two companies are combining forces to provide consumers with the latest value-packed digital technologies in the Sears Home Electronics departments in 860 Sears stores nationwide. Compaq Presario Presario is a series of desktop computers and notebooks from Compaq. The Presario family of computers was launched for the consumer marketplace in September 1993. Although HP has since acquired Compaq, the Presario name was not discontinued due to its marketability. PCs will be the only Windows-based desktop PC brand sold at Sears. Furthermore, Compaq will be the featured brand across all other home computing computing - computer PC categories including notebooks, printers, and monitors. In addition to carrying a full line of Presario PC products, the retail giant will feature special Sears-only Presario configurations designed with the Sears customer in mind. In the near future, consumers will also be able to purchase other Presario models not available at retail locations through Sears kiosks or online at www.Sears.com. |
